73 JUTA STREET BRAAMFONTEIN JOHANNESBURG SOUTH AFRICA
The Neighbourgoods Market Johannesburg was founded by original members Justin Rhodes and Cameron Munro in partnership with Adam Levy of Play Braamfontein – a company that has been at the forefront of turning the once dilapidated neighbourhood of Braamfontein into the pioneering creative hub that it is now.
Housed in a modernist building that has a spectacular 15-story wall mural by the famed artist Eduardo Villa, the market is as much a source for farm fresh foods and specialty goods as it is a meeting point to enjoy community, swop ideas and stories, and be inspired by the energy that makes Joburg.
Fourways Farmers’ Market
The Fourways Farmers’ Market is a true escape from supermarket shopping. The most beautiiful outdoor market in Johannesburg, our carefully selected traders offer the best of the best products; for breakfast, lunch and even to take home! Enter under our Pine Tree canopy, down the path through our haybale picnic lawn. You’ll find our signpost where the only decision you’ll be forced to make is “Coffee to the right?” or “Eats to the left?”. Saunter past the bees buzzing in the Rose and Lavender garden and you’ll enter the most beautiful “supermarket” aisles. Deliciousness awaits!
The Fourways Farmers’ Market boasts 107 VENDOR STALLS, selling carefully selected produce and products that are LOCAL, SEASONAL, DELICIOUS! We have brought together both new and experienced marketeers, absolutely passionate about their products and specialists in their field. True to the tradition of Farmer’s Markets, they love to have a chat with their customers, getting to know you all and very happy to inform you of exactly where your food comes from. There is a selection of organically grown vegetables, locally made cheeses, cured meats, baked goods, jams, preserves and finally, beautifully handcrafted jewellery and other crafts.
